It will also focus on the practical consequences for businesses and the priorities for the European Commission and the AI Office.

Assessing and mitigating AI Risk levels
AI4People – established by Michelangelo Baracchi Bonvicini, Professor Luciano Floridi and Robert Madelin – is a spin-off of AI4People Institute, previously launched in 2018 with Tony Blair. AI4People supports global businesses and governments assessing and mitigating their AI risk levels.
TOWARDS AN ETHICS BY DESIGN APPROACH FOR AI
The AI4People Institute’s Report
During the event the AI4People Institute’s Report “Toward An Ethics By Design Approach for AI” will be presented. The report outlines the “Ethics by Design ” approach aimed to provide guidance to organisations, public or private, small or large enterprises, in proactively designing, developing and maintaining Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in accordance with the laws, ethical, moral principles and values that underpin the European Union.
