We are excited to announce that Pierre Lévy, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and Associate Professor and Researcher at Université de Montréal, will be speaking in Working Group 4: Navigating a World Transformed by AI.

Pierre Lévy holds PhDs in Information Science and Sociology, and has authored thirteen books translated into more than a dozen languages, including Collective Intelligence, Becoming Virtual, and The Semantic Sphere. He is also the CEO and co-founder of INTLEKT Metadata Inc., and the inventor of IEML (the Information Economy Meta Language). His academic career has included professorships at the University of Ottawa, UQTR, Paris 8, and Paris Nanterre, as well as research roles at the University of Montréal and École Polytechnique (CREA). He has advised and delivered official reports on research, education, and culture in the digital era for the French government, the Swiss federal government, the European Union, the Council of Europe, the Centre Pompidou (Paris), the Museum of Civilization (Québec City), EDF, and several private companies.
