We’re delighted to announce the addition to the program of the new Special Session on Defending Society from Disinformation and Misinformation (Dec 3rd, 9:30am – 12:00 CET).
This session will explore the growing influence of disinformation and misinformation on modern society. Experts and representatives from diverse sectors will examine how false or misleading information undermines democratic systems, disrupts key industries, and affects the integrity of research and innovation. The session will also highlight emerging strategies and collaborative initiatives aimed at countering these threats, showcasing new research and technological solutions designed to strengthen societal resilience in the face of information manipulation.
