MEET THE SPEAKERS: Vincent C. Müller

We are excited to announce that Vincent C. Müller, Director of the Centre for Philosophy and AI Research at Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, will be speaking in Working Group 5: AI’s Influence on Science and the Humanities Transformed by AI.

Vincent C. Müller is the Alexander von Humboldt Professor of Philosophy and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and the Director of the Centre for Philosophy and AI Research at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. He is also a Visiting Professor at TU Eindhoven, serves as Chair of the Society for the Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence, and is the Editor of the journal Philosophy of AI. He previously held positions at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Alan Turing Institute in London, the University of Leeds, and the University of Oxford. In 2025, he received the Covey Award from the International Association for Computing and Philosophy.
