Dr. Slosser is an assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Law, affiliated with the Center for European, Comparative, and Constitutional Legal Studies; the iCourts Center on International Courts; and the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence. He serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the IECLO International & European Criminal Law Observatory at the University of Salerno and as a Fellow at the Information Society Law Center at the University of Milan. His research focuses on cognition in general, both human and artificial, and its relationship with public administrative and human rights law, judicial interpretation, and the societal impact of AI. Dr. Slosser has published widely, contributed to advisory committees for AI legislative drafting presented to the European Commission and Parliament, and is involved in international projects on cognitive legal theory and legal linguistics. He is currently part of the Q-Shift project which investigates decision-making and quantum AI, and runs the Sapien Institute, a think tank dedicated to examining how the interplay between abstract principles and their application in specific contexts.
