I’m Flavia Massucci, a 29-year-old compliance professional passionate about the intersection of technology, innovation, ethics, and regulation, particularly in the evolving field of AI. After graduating with a degree in Economics and Business Management in Sapienza University of Rome, I joined Intesa Sanpaolo in 2021 as a Digital Strategist within the Compliance function.
In 2022, I embarked on a talent program with the bank, gaining exposure to diverse areas and pursuing a Master’s in Banking and Finance at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. As part of this program, I worked as an Innovation Analyst and Project Manager, handling various innovation projects in compliance and anti-financial crime, including an international experience in Romania.
Since 2024, I’ve served as a Compliance for Digital Specialist, focusing on the EU AI Act and its implementation within our internal regulatory framework. My work centers on ensuring regulatory alignment, providing internal consulting on AI compliance, and promoting a culture of responsible AI development and use, both within the bank and externally.
